Spearheaded a project to identify, assess, and select a distributor partner for a leading USA food brand.
In 45 days, filtered through over 200 distributor candidates and conducted six interviews in Shanghai with
leading distributors. Aided client through assessment, contract, and launch strategy phases of project.
Shipments to China began seven months following the commencement of project.

The USA is the worlds largest consumer market. The USA supermarket industry is very open to new products,
with the average store carrying 40,000 unique items, including 3,000-4,000 new products every year.

Our Role
The Ecuador based division of a large food company desired to bring their "Made in South America" food brands to the USA.
This was a multi phase project requiring Category Analysis,Plan development,Partner selection, and ultimately the execution of a sales plan.
Export Solutions provided a complete analysis of category dynamics, with specific emphasis on category dynamics at leading
retailers such as Wal*Mart,Kroger,Publix, Costco etc. This information was evaluated and incorporated into a specific plan to expand
